The package had been sitting on Leo’s workbench for three days.
Step 10: Mounting (if for diorama)
- If the figure has flat feet, drill into the base and pin the feet.
- For standing figures, glue to a temporary base or directly into your diorama.
- Respirator & Wet Sanding: Resin dust is toxic. Always wet sand.
- Cyanoacrylate (CA) Glue: Super glue (thin and gel). Plastic cement will not work on resin.
- Pin Vise & Brass Rods (0.5mm or 0.8mm): For pinning large resin parts.
- Epoxy Putty (Milliput or Tamiya): To fill sink marks and join gaps.
- High-grit sanding sponges (400 to 2000 grit).
- Degreaser & Dish Soap: Resin releases mold agents that repel paint.
