This app (Home Appliance Service System) is a diagnostic tool used by Samsung engineers to identify error codes and troubleshoot appliances like refrigerators and ACs.

Setup: Once downloaded, open the app and it will guide you through connecting to your local HASS server instance. On a Samsung Smart TV

  1. Open the App Store: Find the App Store icon on your iOS device and tap on it to open.
  2. Search for Samsung Health: Tap on the search tab at the bottom of the App Store screen and type "Samsung Health".
  3. Select the app: From the search results, select the "Samsung Health" app.
  4. Get and Install: Tap on the "Get" button next to the app icon. If prompted, enter your Apple ID password or use Touch ID/Face ID to authenticate.
  5. Open and set up: Once installed, tap on the "Open" button to launch the app. Follow the in-app instructions to set up your account and configure the app.

Samsung SmartThings: The primary app for connecting and monitoring smart appliances. It can provide status notifications and basic error alerts.

  1. Open the Samsung Galaxy Store on your Samsung device.
  2. Type "Samsung Health" in the search bar, and select the app from the search results.
  3. Click the "Download" button to download and install the app.
  4. Once installed, click the "Open" button to launch the app.

Tap “Install.” The app is free and open-source. It requires approximately 150MB of storage.

Step 4: Keep the App Updated

Enable auto-updates in your app store settings to receive the latest features and security patches from Samsung.
