Some modified IPAs break the login portal. Create an "App Password" via your Google account (2FA must be on) and use the legacy "Sign in with browser" trick. If that fails, use the app without an account—most features work anonymously. Youtube Ipa For Ios 5.1.1
Use the Mobile Web (m.youtube.com) in Safari: It is broken? Partially. Use the “Puffin Browser” (last compatible version) which renders video server-side.
ProTube (legacy): A paid third-party YouTube client. If you bought it in 2014, you can redownload from Purchased tab in App Store. It still works! (But requires purchased history).
Jasmine YouTube Client: Created by the late Tapbots. A stripped-down YouTube player. Still functional on iOS 5.
Tubefixer / YouTubed Patches: These substitute the dead Google API calls with working community proxies or invidious instances.
Certificate Replacement: The app is resigned with a self-signed or enterprise certificate to bypass App Store installation restrictions.
Removed Update Prompt: The patched app will never nag you to “Update from the App Store” (which is impossible since the current version is incompatible).

Where to look: Since these are no longer on the App Store, enthusiasts turn to the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine) or Legacy iOS Kit repositories.
