Somachine Basic 16 Download Updated !link! May 2026

Note that SoMachine Basic has been officially rebranded by Schneider Electric to EcoStruxure Machine Expert - Basic.

• SoMachine Basic V1.6 will remain downloadable and supported (bug fixes only) until at least 2028.
• New M221 hardware purchased after 2025 may ship with firmware that requires EcoStruxure Machine Expert – Basic.
• If you are starting a new project, consider migrating. If maintaining legacy machinery, stick with SoMachine Basic 1.6.

• Fully compatible with 64-bit Windows 11 Pro/Enterprise.
• No more driver signature issues for USB-to-PLC connections.
