Skope heated towel rails often utilize the GBT100 Timer, which is typically installed behind the rail's wall switch. Because the timer is concealed, programming is done through a specific sequence of toggling the standard wall power switch. Quick Setup Guide

  • Set P1 OFF (End Time):
    • Press and hold the Clock button (or P button) for 3–5 seconds until the screen flashes.
    • The day of the week will flash first.
    1. Stagger Your Times: Do not set the rail to turn OFF at the exact second you leave for work. Set it to turn OFF 15 minutes after you leave – the residual heat will keep towels warm, but you save energy.
    2. Winter vs. Summer: In winter, add an extra program (e.g., PROG 3: ON 12:00 – OFF 13:00) to dry thick towels quickly. In summer, stick to morning/evening only.
    3. Don't Use "MAN ON": A Skope rail is not a room heater. Using Manual On continuously is expensive and unnecessary.
    4. Frost Protect for Holidays: Before leaving for a winter trip, switch to FROST mode. This prevents burst pipes in the bathroom without wasting heat.
