Maintenance Tips After Resetting
- Waste ink pad physical reset: After resetting the counter twice, open the printer case (remove back panel) and replace the felt pads with new ones or install an external tube into a plastic bottle.
- Ink system flush: If you see banding after resetting ink levels, run a Power Cleaning from the Maintenance menu (uses a lot of ink but clears clogs).
- Firmware update: Avoid updating firmware after resetting waste counter – newer firmware often blocks third-party reset tools.
