Scope & purpose

ISO 16276-1 specifies general requirements and test methods for determining the resistance of materials or products to accelerated ageing by oxidation (thermo-oxidative ageing) using specified test conditions. It defines test specimens, conditioning, test parameters, and how to report results so that ageing comparisons are reproducible.
