Importance of the License File

Error 1: "Invalid license file format"

• Cause: The file is corrupted, edited, or was generated for a different version of NanoCAD.
• Solution: Request a fresh license file from your vendor. Never open a .lic file in Notepad unless instructed, as saving it can add invisible characters (BOM) that break the signature.

Offline Activation: If you lack internet access, choose to Request license file by email or Save license request to file. Send the generated request file to technical support to receive your license file back. The license file is usually a text file
