Step 3: Prepare the Firmware

1. Open the USB Burning Tool.
2. Click on File > Import Image.
3. Locate the downloaded MeCool K5 firmware .img file and open it.
4. The tool will verify the file. Once finished, you should see a checksum confirmation.

• [ ] Confirmed your RAM/ROM revision.
• [ ] Downloaded the correct .img firmware.
• [ ] Installed Amlogic USB drivers on Windows.
• [ ] Prepared a USB-A to USB-A cable.
• [ ] Backed up any important data.

Plug the USB cable into the USB 2.0 port of the K5 and your PC. Flash: Once the tool says "Connect Success," click Start. Select the local file from your storage and click Update
