IR2110 Library for Proteus 8 — Technical Report

Overview

The IR2110 is a high-voltage, high-speed power MOSFET and IGBT driver with independent high- and low-side referenced output channels. This report documents a Proteus 8 library component for the IR2110: symbol, footprint, pin mapping, electrical behavior assumptions, simulation modeling, usage notes, and verification tests.

3. Functional Simulation Features

  • Input logic: TTL/CMOS compatible (HIN, LIN)
  • Outputs: LO and HO with proper voltage levels relative to COM and VS
  • Bootstrap operation: Supports external bootstrap diode + capacitor (VB > VS by VCC)
  • Deadtime: Internal ~540 ns (typical) – automatically handled
  • Shutdown: SD = HIGH forces both outputs LOW
  • Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO):

Step 2: Download the archive. Typically, it contains two files: ir2110 library for proteus 8

IR2101/IR2102/IR2104 – These are present in some Proteus 8 versions (check under “IR” manufacturer). They are similar to IR2110 but lower voltage (200V vs 500V). IR2110 Library for Proteus 8 — Technical Report
