Troubleshooting: Driver Not Working?
- Uninstall old drivers first – Use
Device Manager>Sound, video and game controllers> right-click device >Uninstall. - Disable driver signature enforcement (Windows 10/11) if installation fails.
- Try a different USB port – avoid USB hubs.
- Check firmware – some drivers require a specific firmware version.

- Open the Fosi Audio Control Panel.
- Increase the ASIO buffer size from 64 to 256 or 512 samples.
- Under "USB Streaming Mode," change from "Safe" to "Extra Safe."
- Move the Fosi device to a dedicated USB controller port (not next to a Wi-Fi dongle or external HDD).
Disable USB Selective Suspend
- Open Power Options → Change plan settings → Change advanced power settings.
- USB settings → USB selective suspend setting → Set to Disabled.
- Why? Windows may cut power to the Fosi driver after 15 minutes of idle, causing a system reboot requirement.
