Abstract

The D-Link DSL-2750U is a widely deployed ADSL2+ modem/router in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and South America. This paper presents a comprehensive security analysis of hardware revision C1 (firmware version IN_1.10 and later). We extract, unpack, and analyze the firmware, identify hardcoded credentials, command injection vulnerabilities, and insecure default configurations. Our findings show that the device is vulnerable to remote unauthenticated information disclosure and LAN-side privilege escalation. We propose a set of firmware hardening measures and an open-source patch.
