If the default "blank" password does not work and you have forgotten the one you created, you can use several recovery methods provided by Annke Technical Support. Hikvision’s default password for older models is also

• Hikvision’s default password for older models is also 12345 (username: admin).
• The DN81R hostname is unique to Annke’s firmware build but uses Hikvision’s backend.
• If all else fails, you can use Hikvision’s SADP Tool (Search Active Devices Protocol) to locate and reset the password on your Annke DVR. This software can detect the device even if you don’t know the IP address.
