Part 1: What is an Android 4.0 Emulator?
An Android 4.0 emulator is a virtual device that mimics the hardware and software of a physical Android smartphone or tablet running API Level 14 or 15 (Android 4.0.1 – 4.0.4). Unlike a simulator (which only replicates software behavior), an emulator creates a full virtual machine, including a virtual ARM or x86 processor, GPU, and storage. The emulator will automatically sideload them
